THE FOOD MAFIA

The Food Mafia is a book, a motion picture, a documentary, a TV series, and a mass tort lawsuit – that has the power to change the world. A bright light is about to be shone on the very systems that sustain humanity and the repercussions are likely to be seismic. It turns out that everything we have been told about diet is wrong and the misinformation has been calculated deliberately to maximize the profits of very powerful food corporations.
The story of The Food Mafia is eerily similar to the story of Big Tobacco. An industry under threat closed ranks and wielded immense power to change the news and remain the dominators of global markets. The film The Insider blew the lid off the tobacco story. The Food Mafia will do the same thing for food. This is a fictionalized account where character Robert Greystein, founder of a health business squares up to Goliath mega-corp Hessen USA – purveyor of food additives, sugar and high-fructose corn syrup aka – poisons.
It is well known that the tobacco industry lobbied, bribed, and misled the world in order to block the regulation that would both save lives and reduce their profits. Today a new story is emerging that actually affects millions more people. Scientific evidence was reported in sixties and seventies that sugar was highly toxic, addictive, and dangerous. The companies making billions adding sugar to food didn’t just suppress this information. They destroyed the career of the man exposing the facts (John Yudkin, the British professor of nutrition, who had sounded the alarm on sugar back in 1972, in a book called Pure, White, and Deadly.)
We know that millions of lives would had been saved had the tobacco industry not behaved the way that they did. This is why, today, there is the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement worth $206 billion over the first 25 years. The numbers for food are staggering. Currently there are 200 million people with Type 2 Diabetes in Europe and North America. This health epidemic is directly linked to bad diet advice concocted by the food industry. The affected public will similarly want the truth to come out and want compensations for the harm caused.
Big Food and Big Sugar are linked to a dark and sinister past, including crooked politicians, bribes, the sugar cartels, and falsified scientific tests that have manipulated the American diet for billions in sordid profits. The time has come to break this story. The Food Mafia the book, the motion picture, the documentary, the TV series, the mass tort litigation – collectively will break this story wide open.
